A few days after releasing its first promotional photo of Tom Hardy as Bane, The Dark Knight Rises has cast three new roles.
According to Variety, veteran stars Matthew Modine and Tom Conti (pictured), along with 11-year old Joey King, will portray characters in the 2012 blockbuster. No other details have been revealed, other than that Modine will portray someone named Nixon.
Among other roles/actors that will star opposite Christian Bale in the film:
- Joseph Gordon-Levitt as an ally in the Gotham Police Department.
- Anne Hathaway as Selena Kyle/Catwoman.
- Miranda Tate as a a Wayne Enterprises employee.
- Josh Pence as a young Ra's al Ghul.
