Leah Messer Suffers Miscarriage

Sad news out of Elkview, W.V., this morning.

Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer has suffered a miscarriage, according to reports. "She was having bad cramps for the past two weeks, and then she miscarried," an insider said the 19-year-old, already parents of 2-year-old twins Aleeah and Ali.

Fiance Jeremy Calvert, who got engaged to Leah late last year, told OK! Magazine that the miscarriage has made for "a devastating experience" for himself and Leah.

Leah Messer Miscarriage

"All I can do is support Leah and take things day by day," said Jeremy, who's not the father of Ali and Aleeah (that would be her former husband Corey Simms).

"It's hard, but we will get through it.”

In the last two years, Leah has known lots of sorrow. She had a very traumatic pregnancy, starting at age 16, and went into early labor at just six months.

She remained on strict bed rest for the last trimester of her pregnancy, and Ali has been dealing with serious health issues from the moment she was born.

Combined with her divorce, it's all been too much to take. Luckily, she is reportedly very happy with Calvert and has him to lean on in this difficult time.

Susanna Barrett, Awful Toddlers & Tiaras Mom, Sues Media For "Oversexualizing" Daughter

Sigh. The mom of young Isabella Barrett of Toddlers & Tiaras fame is suing the MEDIA for over-sexualizing her daughter ... by reporting on Isabella's "Sexy And I Know It" cover.

Susanna Barrett claims media outlets, in reporting that event, portrayed her five-year-old daughter in an "overly sexualized manner." Right. All the media's fault.

In court papers, Susanna claims Isabella "did not act or portray herself sexually, erotically or provocatively" and that coverage of her performance was unfair.'

"She was not 'gyrating' at a 'nightclub' or singing 'about her sex appeal," the elder Barrett claims incredulously. "On the contrary, it is the defendants who, through their articles ... thrust these false and vulgar characteristics on to Isabella."

Yes, this is a real story. The delusional mother seems to see nothing wrong with having her daughter sing a sexually-themed LMFAO song.

The media talking about it though? Shame.

Thanks to TMZ, The Huffington Post, The Daily Mail and other celebrity news sources, “Isabella is now perceived sexually, erotically and pornographically."

Suing for $30 million, Barrett adds, "[The articles] place Isabella in physical danger, attracting the attention of others who would seek to sexualize a child.”

Well, on those grounds, can someone sue her for $30 million too then?

Katy Perry Pink Hair Affair: Long or Short?

Never one to get complacent with her ever-changing looks, Katy Perry has been sporting a new 'do of late, or at least wearing her pink locks in a different manner.

The "One That Got Away" singer, who's been rocking the pink tresses since the MTV VMAs in August, showed up to an event with a slightly blonder, shorter style.

While the most shocking thing in the photo below is the amount of skin coverage, it's definitely a different look for Katy, for sure. But do you like it? Vote below!

'Stretch Armstrong' Movie: Taylor Lautner Out, Relativity Plans April 2014 Release

It looks like "Stretch Armstrong" will reach into theaters (ding!) after all, but without Taylor Lautner. Relativity Media and Hasbro announced a partnership on Monday that would bring the action figure to the big screen, though no casting is currently in place.

Back in February of 2010, when "Stretch Armstrong" was set up at Universal with producer Brian Grazer, the "Twilight" star was discussed as a possible lead. Now, Relativity and Hasbro will embark on a new search to find Armstrong, an action figure that was first created in 1976. "We are absolutely thrilled to partner with Hasbro, a company whose global reach and ability to innovate has made them immensely successful in the arena of brand re-imagination-- as evidenced by their legacy of creating such franchises as 'Transformers' and 'G.I. Joe,'" said Relativity co-president Tucker Tooley in a statement to Variety. In addition to the two franchises mentioned by Tooley, Hasbro also has "Battleship" coming out later this year, through Universal. The toy company has seen its co-productions gross nearly $3 billion in worldwide grosses since "Transformers" was released in 2007. Translation: expect to buy your kids plenty of Stretch Armstrong toys when the film is eventually released on April 11, 2014. [via Variety]

Daniel Radcliffe on 'The Woman in Black' and Harry Potter: 'If I Have Passed My Most Famous Point, I Won't Be Unhappy'

Daniel Radcliffe seems content with, as he puts it, the fading "hoopla" that surrounded playing Harry Potter for ten years. "If that steadily decreases for the rest of my life, I'll be kind of cool with that," Radcliffe admitted on the eve of the release "The Woman in Black," his first post-Potter film project. Considering his fame -- primarily fueled from playing Potter in eight separate films -- the 22-year-old actor is surprisingly self-aware.

Radcliffe realizes his current place in movie stardom. He knows that his "cachet" (again, as he puts it) will not last forever, nor do I get the impression that he wants it to last forever. Actually, from the time we spent together, I did get a vibe from Radcliffe that almost cried, "the sooner, the better." Put it this way: when searching for an apt metaphor to describe fame and fortune, Radcliffe compared it to regurgitated steak.

In "The Woman in Black" Radcliffe plays Arthur Kipp, a lawyer who discovers deep, dark secrets in a town inhabited by a seemingly child-killing ghost. An open and honest Radcliffe discussed the importance of his first post-Potter role, why he would not play another character named "Harry," and what he won't miss about the fame that came along with being Harry Potter.

They didn't screen the film for me before this interview. I'm sorry. I've seen the trailer. In the time we have, you could act out every scene that I've seen five times. That's absolutely true! Yes! And it would be a lot of the same face that's in the trailer. So you're 22 now, right? Yes. You do look a little older in "The Woman in Black" than what we're used to seeing. Good. Is that important to you? Yep. Why? In the original script he's about 27. I think I could conceivably play 24 or 25 with a little bit of stubble. Also, in all of those clothes, that makes you look slightly older because you hold yourself differently. So, yeah, we were picturing him at about 24 or 25, with a 4-year old son. Did you read the book? Yes. I've read the book, but I've never seen the play. Weirdly, because I never really was at school -- because the play seems to be like a "school trip" play for everybody I know -- I never went to see it because I was doing "Potter." But I hear it's terrifying -- as it should be. It would be odd if you said, "I've heard that it's hilarious." [Laughs] Yeah, well that's the thing: the movie is very different than the book and very different than the play. And the book is different than the play. So, you know, we've all taken liberties. The original book is told in the past -- it's flashback from my character as an old man -- and that's not what it is in the film. In the film it all takes place in the present time. It's basically the idea for "The Woman in Black," the village and the tone of the book, and changed details of the story. What if the main character's first name in this story was Harry instead of Arthur? Maybe that's a stupid question... No, it's not stupid at all. Would you have asked to have it changed? Yeah, I think I might. That's interesting. I don't know. I think I might. It would be more of a problem if the character's name was Potter. That would be worse. But, I don't know. Maybe. On "My Boy Jack," they came to me with glasses and I was like, "Whoa, not those ones." But, yes, it's not a stupid question; it's quite an interesting one. Yeah, I think I might have asked for that to be changed. I'm not sure. I don't know how I would have felt about that. But, yeah, there's also another weird "Potter" connection with this: the guy who played my dad in "Potter" played my character in the original TV film of "The Woman in Black." So there's a few little weird "Potter" connections. But, then again, "Potter" is connected to everything. It's no no longer even a coincidence. It's just inevitable. This is your first big film role post-"Potter." How important is this movie to you? It's important, but it's not the be-all and end-all, that's the thing. Like, people keep saying, "Oh, it's Daniel Radciffe's first film post-"Harry Potter," let's see how he does." I don't even necessarily mean it like that. Do you feel you need to separate yourself from what you're currently known for? Yes. But I think it's a longer... I think to put all of that pressure on one film would be ridiculous. I think, because not everyone is going to see this. A lot of people will, hopefully, but not everyone. And, also, I made peace a long time ago with the fans. There will be people who forever see me as Harry. That's fine as long as they're not controlling a casting racket in L.A., then we'll be fine. For this film, what's great about it and what's kind of perfect is that the part is different: it's older, it's playing a father. There are challenges there; stuff that will physically separate me from Harry in people's minds. But there's also the story is so compelling that after about 10 or 15 minutes of watching the film, you're going to stop thinking about me or what else I've done and just be into the film. Because it's a really brilliant story. So that's why it's kind of perfect as a first film outside of it. Because even though I'm the only "name above the title" kind of thing, once you're in there, it's not about me. it's about the story and the need to know what's going to happen. So, hopefully that will overtake. Will you miss all the commotion that came with Harry Potter? If I were you, I can't decide if I'd miss it or not. [Pauses] Hm... Not the people that you worked with... No, no, no... the fame and the circus and the hoopla... "Hoopla." That's the word I'm looking for. No, I don't miss the hoopla. I don't think, particularly. I'm quite happy. If I have passed my most famous point, I won't be unhappy. Like, that's OK. If, say, around the time of "Potter 7" coming out, my face is all over the world, and all of that stuff is going on at that time and all of that madness -- if that steadily decreases for the rest of my life, I'll be kind of cool with that. I had a good dose of it for 10 years. You know, I'm now content to just make my way and do a lot of films that I find interesting. There is the fight, then, is that in order to keep being able to do interesting little things, you have to do that George Clooney thing of doing a big movie like an "Oceans 11" -- which are still very good movies -- so that you can go off and do "Syriana" or "Good Night and Good Luck," or whatever. So I suppose that's the challenge in the future. For now, I still have "Potter" behind me and people still associate me with this big thing. So, while my name has some cachet, I guess... It does. It does, for now. But, you know, it won't forever. And, so, while it still does, I've got a chance to make some really interesting films. So when you look at the hoopla, what part are you most glad is over? Is it so you have time to make different movies? That's the thing... You had time for stage productions... But not for films. I won't miss having to tell people, "No, I won't be available for another year and a half." I won't miss that. Look, there's always going to be premieres and all of that. That kind of stuff. I won't miss the mania that kind of surrounds it. But it's not like I disliked any of that at the same time. it's one of those things where you go, I don't know -- it's the equivalent of having a really, really good steak. Like, you have it, then it's gone. You don't miss it. You don't go, "Oh, I wish that steak were back here." You go, "Damn, I enjoyed that." I've missed steak before. OK, but you don't want to regurgitate it and eat it again! That's fair. But that's the kind of thing I'd say about "Potter." It was like a good steak for 10 years, I enjoyed it, but I wouldn't try and bring it back up. At one point you were attached to play photographer Dan Eldon. What happened? Yeah, yeah... I was attached to that for a while. We felt that the script changes were needed. My ex-girlfriend went to high school with him, so it's a project that I've paid attention to. Oh, really? Yeah, it was a great script. And then I read a little more about his life and the script was fantastic, but it wasn't entirely -- reading about Dan, as well as being an inspirational and amazing person, he was also abrasive. And he annoyed a lot of people. He had a knack for pissing people off. I've heard that. And that wasn't in the script. And I felt that it needed that. So, yeah, that was the reason for that. Octomom on Kids: Eight Pieces of POOP!

Nadya "Octomom" Suleman shared some thoughts on her octuplets, who just turned three, on UStream this weekend. She likened raising them to fecal matter.

To be fair, she did not say they're crap overall, and believes the blessings far outweigh the negatives. Still, you may want to reconsider your word choice, Nads.

In a 30-minute nonsensical rant, Octomom lashes out for 21 minutes against her haters, whom she calls "obsessors" that "hide behind their computer screen."

She then gets into the "joy" of child-rearing ...

Recalling the conception of her octuplets, Nadya Suleman acts like she had no control in the matter and says she prayed, "Please God, don't let there be eight!"

She says she's not showing them on UStream because "I want to protect them and ... I got in trouble a little bit showing the eight in the beginning." Mmm.

About 19 minutes in, she says, "Is this easy? God no, it's not easy at all! I'm not going to be trying to don any façade and say 'Oh yeah, life is a piece of cake.'"

"It's not. It's a piece of poop ... eight pieces of poop, all day long."

Nadya then adds that the "rewards outweigh anything negative" and that "Your opinion of me and my family, it's none of my business, so lets keep it that way."

Perhaps referring to her kids as poop isn't the best way to assure that, Octo, but it looks like she's keeping her weekly UStream show going. Thank goodness.

Angelina Jolie Downplays Brad Pitt Marriage Talk

Are Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie really headed down the altar soon?

That's what could be expected, given Pitt's recent comments about the pressure to - and his desire to - propose, but according to Jolie, that's premature.

"I think anything said tends to be blown out of proportion," Jolie told People Sunday night at the SAG Awards, when asked about "a lot of ring-talk lately."

"Yeah, that was my fault," Pitt admitted with a smile.

Guess we know who wears the pants in that house.

Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt at the SAG Awards

The speculation about wedding bells in the near future for the famous couple stem from Pitt's remark that Brangelina is "getting a lot of pressure from the kids."

"It means something to them," he continued, adding that he would like to marry Angelina, and that "We will [get married] someday, we will. It's a great idea."

"'Please, get mommy a ring.' 'OK, I will, I will.' "

"It seems to mean more and more to our kids," he said. "I don't think we'll be able to hold out … it means something to me, to make that kind of commitment."

Probably not until Angelina demands it, however.

Carolina Panthers Reveal New, Modernized Logo

A new quarterback took them from 2-14 to 6-10.

So the Carolina Panthers can't wait to see what a new logo does for them next season.

Indeed, the team unveiled a slightly modified look to its logo today, removing an outline around their cats' head, darkening the shade of blue around the edges and unhinging the feline's jaw a bit. Can you even tell the difference?

Carolina Panthers Logo

“We have one of the finest and most recognizable logos in the NFL and wanted to make it as modern as possible without losing the dramatic essence of the mark,” Panthers President Danny Morrison said of the revamp.

What do you think, fans?

John "The Unit" Manfre Pleads Not Guilty to Horse Tranq Possession

That douche The Unit from Jersey Shore claims there is no way he was in possession of a powerful horse tranquilizer when he was arrested in N.J. last year.

Yes, Unit got popped with horse tranquilizer in Seaside Heights.

The Situation's boy, whose real name is John (or Jonny) Manfre, entered a not guilty plea to possession of a controlled substance stemming from the July bust.

The substance was determined to be Ketamine, a horse tranq.

The Unit

The Unit from Jersey Shore does his thing. The girl's face sums it up.

After the hearing, Unit's lawyer Raymond Raya offered TMZ a classic non-explanation: "There were some issues regarding my client's constitutional rights."

"We entered the not guilty plea NOT because that's the normal thing to do ... we've actually entered the not guilty plea because we believe John is not guilty."

He added, "We expect a very favorable outcome." Good to know. We don't expect Snooki's girl Ryder can say the same after she gets tested, however.

Happy 58th Birthday Oprah!

Today, Oprah Winfrey celebrates her 58th birthday.  Come inside and celebrate the postive impact she's had on the lives of many...

It was a huge year for Oprah.  Though her network got off to a slow start, she did end 25 years of her legendary talk show that turned many authors, inventors and ordinary people into millionaires and celebrities.

Putting phrases and words like "A Ha Moment," "walking in your truth," and "emotional integrity" into the everyday lexicon, she's helped shaped the way we live, think and speak.

Not bad for a little black girl from Mississippi.  In the words of Maya Angelou from the last "Oprah" show....

"Oprah....loving....giving....caring. Oprah! Oprah! Oprah!"

Wonder what bestie Gayle is getting her.  Celebrate Ms. Oprah in the gallery......

SAG Awards Red Carpet Ruled By Pastels, Sexy Details

Emma Stone, Lea Michele and Angelina Jolie flaunt what they've got in couture on Sunday night.
By Jocelyn Vena

The SAG Awards may honor actors and their hard work, but on the red carpet on Sunday (January 29), it was all about recognizing all of the hard work they put into their looks. At the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, the overarching trend seemed to be flaunting what you've got.

For photos of the stars on the SAG Awards red carpet, click here.

Zoe Saldana went light in a sequined white dress with a drop waist and floral detailing. Kristin Wiig's look, though, had a bit of a split personality: Her pale-hued Balenciaga gown was decidedly glam thanks to tailoring that showed off her long, lean body, but her black metal choker was a bit too heavy and goth for the overall look.

Two of the biggest divas on Fox's "Glee," Lea Michele and Naya Rivera, made pale colors look red-hot. Michele's lavender Versace had a body-hugging bodice and thigh-high slit, while Rivera's ice-blue dress was made even sexier thanks to a plunging neckline.

Red also ruled the carpet. "My Week With Marilyn" star Michelle Williams was chic in a bright-red Valentino dress, which was cut right above the ankle. Her ladylike look was capped off with lace detailing along her sleeves and neckline. "Dexter" star Jennifer Carpenter also opted for a red-and-lace red-carpet look.

Using a similar color palette, Sofia Vergara's hot pink, strapless Marchesa gown was super hot. Her "Modern Family" co-star Julie Bowen went Grecian in a purple gown.

Emma Stone, Angelina Jolie, Tina Fey and Ashlee Simpson decided that a little black dress wasn't too simple for Sunday's show. Jolie played up her inner vixen in a Jenny Packham halter gown with a draped neckline. Meanwhile, Stone went quirky in a three-quarter-length strapless black dress with lace details. "The Help" star played up the fun aspect of the Alexander McQueen design with platform shoes.

Simpson, meanwhile, looked like a character right out of boyfriend Vincent Piazza's show "Boardwalk Empire" in a '20s-style Jenny Packham gown with sequins and see-through fabric along the neckline. Fey brought the "va va voom" in her black strapless column dress: It was all party on top — with grey and black shades — and business at the bottom in a plain black fabric.

The guys didn't disappoint, either. Fellas like Brad Pitt, George Clooney and Jonah Hill kept it classic and simple in tuxedos, choosing ties over bowties. One guy, however, had a little fun with it, and that honor went to "Modern Family" star Jesse Tyler Ferguson, who wore a blue pinstripe suit with a matching blue-velvet bowtie.

Stick with MTV News all night for the 2012 SAG Awards winners, and don't miss all the fashion from the red carpet!

Katherine Heigl Has 'Thought A Lot' About Return To 'Grey's Anatomy'

'There's nothing about [Izzie] I didn't like,' Heigl tells MTV News at 'One for the Money' premiere.

NEW YORK — It's been more than two years since Katherine Heigl left her role as Dr. Izzie Stevens on the hit show "Grey's Anatomy." Rumors swirled that Heigl had behaved like a diva on the set, and after five seasons she left to focus on her movie career and being a mom to her adopted daughter.

Yet it seems she's had a change of heart. At the New York premiere of her new flick "One for the Money," which hits theaters on Friday, Heigl told MTV News she would love to return to "Grey's Anatomy" to find out what happened to her beloved character.

"There was something about her that I really loved. I thought she was such an interesting character and her backstory, the fact that she was raised in a trailer park and had to give a child up for adoption, put herself through med school and was standing there actually doing the work and going for it, so smart, sort of strong-willed," Heigl said. "I thought she was kind of a great character — there's nothing about her I didn't like."

Back in October 2010 Heigl told MTV News that she was certain she would not return to Seattle Grace since she didn't want to feel her plotline was forced. "I can't think of any way that she could come back gracefully that wouldn't just feel manipulative," the actress explained. "And it's hard, because I really wonder what she's doing and where she is and what happened, but that is over for me now."

Yet Heigl now seems ready to reconsider and already has an idea of what could happen to Izzie. "I've thought about this a lot, actually. I would love it if Izzie came back actually having really just sort of gotten to the next level," Heigl said. "She was always sort of one step behind and struggling with her career, and then she went though all these awful things, the death of her friend, the death of her fiancé, her own near death and then the dissolving of her own marriage. I just want the girl to win, just once. So I want her to come back and have really succeeded at whatever hospital she went to work at with her tail between her legs and maybe they've made her head of surgery or she's invented some surgical method; that would be awesome."

With all the ups and downs she experienced on "Grey's Anatomy," there is one thing she wish she could change: her acting. "I think there's a lot of scenes where I wish I had performed them better," Heigl said.

"You're always like, 'Oh, I wish I could take that back.' "

Would you be excited if Katherine Heigl returned to "Grey's Anatomy"? Let us know in the comments!

'The Artist' Director Michel Hazanavicius Earns Top DGA Honors

The 84th annual Academy Awards don't happen for another four weeks, but you can start writing down "The Artist" and Michel Hazanavicius in pen on your printable ballot. At the Directors Guild of America awards on Saturday night, Hazanavicius was named best director of the year, meaning should probably get a speech ready for Feb. 26.

The DGA award winner has also won Best Director 58 times in the 64 years that the award has existed. Those nearly insurmountable odds mean Hazanavicius should have a fairly easy time defeating Martin Scorsese, Woody Allen, Alexander Payne and Terrence Malick at the Academy Awards; the last time the DGA and Oscars disagreed was 2002 when Rob Marshall won the DGA award for "Chicago," but Roman Polanski took home the Oscar for "The Pianist." This is the second huge win for "The Artist" in as many weeks; the film took home the Producers Guild award for Best Feature, a nominal Best Picture precursor. Should the film also win Best Ensemble at the SAG awards on Sunday night, it will have likely locked up Best Picture; even if it doesn't, "The Artist" has likely already locked up Best Picture, thanks to the strong support it has received throughout awards season. Justin Bieber and Emma Watson Hairstyles: So Influential!

One may be the most popular young singer alive, and the other may have helped anchor the highest-grossing movie franchise in Hollywood history, but Justin Bieber and Emma Watson themselves take a backseat in a new poll published by The Wall Street Journal.

According to that newspaper, Bieber and Watson possess the "most influential" hair in all the land.

“Hairstylists are being inundated with requests” by clients that want to resemble these stars, the publication reports. “The enthusiasm plays out online, where the fastest-rising searches for celebrity haircuts on Google are for Ms. Watson and Mr. Bieber.”

This honor for Justin and Emma is among a few fashion milestones from 2011 the Journal highlights. Others include:

  • The Fashion Event of the Year: Royal Wedding
  • The Most Spectacular Bridal Fiasco: Kim Kardashian‘s wedding
  • The Biggest Runway Flop: Kanye West‘s Paris Fashion Week Debut

Miley Cyrus Licks Penis Cake for Boyfriend's Birthday

Liam Hemsworth turned 22 years old last week and those close to the actor celebrated with a party Saturday evening at Club Icon in Los Angeles.

It was your basic festive occasion, with one notable exception that is now making headlines for Miley Cyrus: the singer, reported by onlookers to have been drinking heavily all night, got up close and VERY personal with her boyfriend's birthday cake.

Which was shaped like a penis.

Miley Cyrus on a Red Carpet

TMZ has posted photos of Miley squatting, sticking out her tongue and posing provocatively at the base of the phallic creation.

At this point, we almost admire Cyrus for legitimately not caring what others say about her. Consider just a few of her actions when cameras were around:

What do you make of Miley's latest antics? Just a young gal having fun? Or another example of the role model not understanding her influence on fans?

Amanda Knox, Parents Face Slander Charges in Italy

It's been nearly four months since Amanda Knox returned to the U.S. after spending four years in an Italian jail. Now she may be going back to the country.

Why return to a place where she was jailed for so long?

Not to see the sights, although her lawyer says she still loves the country and would even consider returning as a tourist one day. But in the more immediate future, Amanda may testify on behalf of her parents, who face criminal charges of slander.

Curt Knox and Edda Mellas, who are divorced, are charged with slandering the Perugia police based on statements they made to London's Sunday Times.

In the interview, they repeated Amanda Knox's claims that she had been physically abused and verbally threatened by police during an interrogation.

How living at home in Washington State, Amanda Knox, 24, is expected to be called as a defense witness at their trial, which is set to begin on March 30.

Knox's murder conviction was overturned last October, but she also faces slander charges for statements regarding police conduct she made during her trial.

Rihanna Gets Studded For The Michael Jackson THE IMMORTAL World Tour

It's been a while since we've seen Rihanna on a red carpet.  But she threw on her best leather get-up and flaunted her new THUG LIFE knuckle tattoo for last night's premiere of Michael Jackson 'THE IMMORTAL' World Tour by Cirque du Soleil.

Pics of the studded pop diva inside...

If there were any doubts before if her new THUG LIFE tatt is real, it is.  The singer hit up the Staples Center last night with her tatt on display.  And she was there to see Michael Jackson remembered in Cirque Du Soleil fashion:

Cute shades.
