In 2008 we reported that The Weinstein Company picked up the film rights to August: Osage County, and then in October 2010 we noted that Oscar-winners Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts were combining their star power for lead roles in the movie. And then...nothing happened. But now, finally, there's movement to report.
