Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones was arrested early Sunday. We'd blame the NFL lockout for taking away the structure in the man's life, but he's been arrested about 39 times prior to this.
Jones was charged with disorderly conduct after an incident at a Cincinnati bar. At the Scene Ultra Lounge, he became intoxicated and disruptive. He was asked to leave but was "uncooperative and needed to be escorted out."
Jones shouted profanities and then tried to get out of his handcuffs as officers attempted to arrest him. He is scheduled to be arraigned Monday.
Pacman's most publicized legal woes stemmed from a 2007 strip club melee in Las Vegas that left one employee partially paralyzed and two wounded.
Jones appeared to be turning things around, saying last year: "I'm happy I finally got everything behind me. I'm trying to do whatever I have to do to never come back to nothing that is close to this situation again."
Alas, that pledge didn't last long.
Signed by the Bengals last year, Jones played in five games before suffering a neck injury. For the season, he amassed 13 tackles, one interception, one forced fumble returned for a touchdown, and 200 hours of community service.
