Orlando Bloom and Juliette Lewis co-star as bandmates in the independent film Sympathy for Delicious, the directorial debut of actor Mark Ruffalo. Ruffalo and Christopher Thornton co-wrote and co-star in Delicious, with Thornton playing a DJ who winds up confined to a wheelchair and living out of his car. Ruffalo plays a priest who tries to help DJ Delicious out, only to discover Delicious has the power to heal others with his hands. However, he doesn't have the power to heal himself.
Bloom and Lewis' characters become involved in the drama when Delicious gets involved with their punk rock band. Together to discuss Sympathy for Delicious at the film's LA press day, the twosome talked about getting into their characters, the appeal of the project, and working with Ruffalo as a director.
