Nathan Fillion's been absent from the big screen for too long. There...I've said it. Sure, we can get our Fillion fix with Castle, but the last feature film he had a major role in was in 2008's Trucker (featuring one of the best performances of the year delivered by Michelle Monaghan). Now word comes via The Hollywood Reporter that Fillion has joined the cast of Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters, the sequel to 2010's Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief.
