Jeremy Mayfield, the former NASCAR star who was suspended indefinitely in 2009 for various drug offenses, has reportedly been arrested for possession of meth.
Mayfield, 42, got popped on Tuesday at his western North Carolina home and charged with possession of methamphetamine, according to The Associated Press.

The former Pocono 500 winner posted $3,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in district court on Wednesday, and he may face other charges as well.
Officials tell the AP that approximately $100,000 worth of merchandise from businesses in neighboring Lincoln County was found in Mayfield’s home.
The items found included welding equipment, truck parts and various other items that were reported stolen. He denies this - and the meth possession.
Daniel Marin, Mayfield’s D.C.-based attorney said that the search of his client’s home was made on a “baseless allegation,” and he is denying all charges.
Mayfield showed promise in his early racing career but was suspended in 2009 when NASCAR said he tested positive for meth from a random drug test.
