We already knew Christian Bale was set to star in 'Flowers of War, but considering it was made by Chinese director Zhang Yimou and submitted by China as the nation's Foreign Film Oscar selection, you'd expect there to be some Chinese dialect in the film. Based on the first trailer, there isn't! In fact, it looks like Bale -- as an American priest -- and the rest of the characters primarily speak English.
