When news started circulating on Sunday, October 23rd that Joss Whedon (Buffy, Firefly) had secretly directed a Much Ado About Nothing film, I thought it was a really early April Fool's Day joke. And I wasn't alone in thinking it had to be a joke because when did he have the opportunity to squeeze in another project with The Avengers taking up all his time, and how could it have been kept a secret? But it's true, as confirmed by the official press release detailing the project. (Why do all the really interesting news items happen while I'm on vacation?)
