Filming Begins on Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close

Sandra Bullock and Tom Hanks have just started work in New York on Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close, the dramatic film based on Jonathan Safran Foer's novel. Stephen Daldry (The Reader) is directing from a screenplay by Eric Roth (Forrest Gump), and Warner Bros is hoping to get the film into theaters later this year.
