Ah, theme park rides. They're a blast when you're a kid, they're a nice distraction when you're an adult and, if you're Disney, they're the gift of vertical integration that keeps on giving. The studio has been plucking its most popular rides for film adaptation for nearly a decade now and today's news reaffirms their commitment to ride-based blockbusters: Deadline is reporting that the Mouse House has set their sights on making a movie out of their 'Jungle Cruise' ride.
Disney has actually had their eye on the project for some time now, but Deadline's report indicates the studio is re-prioritizing 'Jungle Cruise' after realizing it would be a perfect family adventure vehicle to reunite 'Toy Star' stars Tom Hanks and Tim Allen.
