American Idol chopped down its contestants from 100 tonight, cutting 40 hopefuls and bidding farewell to Hollywood. The competition next heads to Las Vegas, where singers will take on The Beatles catalog and 20 more wannabes will be eliminated.
So, who advanced? We were pleased to see Ashley Sullivan, Jacob Lusk, Scotty McCreery, Ta-Tynisa Wilson, Brett Loewenstern, Lauren Alaina, James Durbin, Casey Abrams, Carson Higgins, Naima Adedapo, Julie Zorilla and Rachel Zevita all receive good news.
