Joseph Gordon-Levitt Discusses 50/50

Joseph Gordon-Levitt stars as a hard-working guy whose life is thrown for a loop when he's diagnosed with cancer in the comedy/drama, 50/50. Inspired by writer Will Reiser's own battle with cancer, the film also stars Reiser's real life friend Seth Rogen (who also produced 50/50) playing Gordon-Levitt's best friend.

In this video courtesy of Summit Entertainment, Gordon-Levitt talks about his character, Adam, and his reaction to being dealt such a devastating blow. He also discusses his character's relationship with his girlfriend, Rachel (played by Bryce Dallas Howard):
