Tim Robbins (just seen as a philandering '70s hubby on HBO's 'Cinema Verite') will co-star in what's described as "a heartfelt comedy set in and around a 12-step program for recovering sex addicts in New York City. The bonds of friendship between these men help the overcome temptation and develop meaningful relationships for the first time in their lives."
The movie will reteam Ruffalo with 'The Kids Are All Right' co-scripter Stuart Blumberg; both were Oscar-nominated for that film. Blumberg, whose other credits include the porn-star comedy 'The Girl Next Door' with Elisha Cuthbert and 'MadTV, co-wrote 'Sharing' with Matt Winston.
Edward Norton will co-produce. He previously worked with Blumberg on his own directorial debut, 2000′s 'Keeping the Faith.' (We're hoping for a Norton 12-step cameo with a nod to 'Fight Club.')
